Be Kind

I was asked alot the other night how BeKind came to be. So here it is!

When we were going to have our first show for years ago and I thought this might be a thing, it occurred to me I may need a business card. Dani at the print shop knew our story, her kid went to the same school Dane had gone and over and over she heard me say, if people were just kind, Dane would have finished school, if people were kind he’d have peers as friends, if people were kind he would have a real job. And so when I showed up she decided to put that slogan on top of the art I picked for my card. That was 4 years ago and we are still saying it. It’s so important in life that people feel cared about and loved. I stand by this today as we are launching his Be Kind T shirts and school is going back in. Is there a better more important time to be kind. With the climate today kindness is more important that ever. When diagnosed with a disability our kids are set apart and the deep longing to be with their peers is real. It jsut takes one kid to make a difference in someones life. Be that someone, It could change your life too! Make that happen for someone today! We love you! #BeKind#danecapoart
